14-Feb-2012Award winning creative agency The Creative Collective will kick off their Web Wednesday events for 2012 with another stellar line-up of industry specialists on the topic of buying and selling online businesses on Wednesday 22 February.
Brisbane based Richard Eastes who bought into a struggling online business in 2002 – VroomVroomVroom.com - now achieves online sales of over $40m per annum will feature at the event alongside highly regarded internet marketing speaker Liz Raad who has a passion for buying, renovating and selling websites quickly and easily will share their top online success secrets with local audiences.
“If you have ever started an online business from scratch, you know how much time and money there is involved. Branding, design concepts, choosing the right platform, integrating the design, writing and uploading images and content and even when it’s live, you’ve still got to get traffic, leads and sales,” says director of The Creative Collective and MC for the event, Yvette Adams.
“A lot of people don’t realize that there are great turn-key online businesses out there that you can just buy ready to go without going to all this trouble and that there are people who start-up and ‘flip’, or sell websites and make a lot of money doing so. We know local Sunshine Coast business owners are going to love these exciting online success strategies.”
The Web Wednesday events continue to grow, with Natalie McIvor of GEM Events now taking on event management and the ability to watch the livestream (without the benefits of goodie bags, door prizes and networking) from the company’s Facebook page at www.facebook.com/thecreativecollective continuing to gain in popularity
The event will take place on Wednesday 22 February in the Lecture Theatre, Sunshine Coast TAFE, Mooloolaba Campus, 5.15pm doors open for networking, for a 6pm event start. Further tickets and details are available from: http://www.thecreativecollective.com.au/webwednesday
